Dr. Herman Dumbrigue, DDM, FAAMP, FACP - Plano Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Herman Dumbrigue was born and raised in the Philippines. He attended Ateneo de Davao University, a Jesuit Institution, and the University of the Philippines, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM) degree. He then trained in Hospital Dentistry at the Philippine General Hospital. Dr. Dumbrigue completed a Prosthodontic Residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and a Maxillofacial Prosthetics Fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Dr. Dumbrigue served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Florida and was a Tenured Associate Professor at the Baylor College of Dentistry where he also served as Assistant Director for the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program. He has authored over 30 scientific articles and abstracts in dental and scientific journals, and he serves on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Prosthodontics. He has lectured nationally and internationally.
Dr. Dumbrigue received the Educational Leadership Award at the University of Florida. He also received the John J. Sharry Research Award from the American College of Prosthodontists and the Judson Hickey Scientific Writing Award from the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics and the American College of Prosthodontists. Dr. Dumbrigue is a member of the University of the Philippines Alpha Sigma Fraternity and was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society at the Baylor College of Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Dumbrigue is married to Dr. Marianne Chingbingyong, a pediatric dentist. They have two children who attend St. Mark Catholic School and Jesuit.
