When There's a Gap in Your Smile
Your permanent teeth are supposed to last a lifetime, but unfortunately, tooth loss is more common than you might want to think; statistics show that about 178 million Americans are missing at least one tooth. Dental Bridges
A dental bridge is comprised of two crowns and at least one artificial tooth called a pontic. The crowns will be attached to two of your natural teeth to anchor your dental bridge in place, filling in the gap. We may recommend a dental bridge if you've lost a single tooth or multiple consecutive teeth. Keep in mind that to place a dental bridge, we will have to remove a small amount of enamel from the teeth that will support it.
Dentures
Dentures give you an efficient way to replace multiple teeth simultaneously. The base of the denture is designed to blend in with the gum tissue, and the artificial teeth it supports are made to look as natural as possible. When most or all of your teeth are missing, we may recommend full dentures to replace the entire arch. However, if you still have plenty of teeth worth saving, you can fill the gaps between them with a personalized denture.
Dental Implants
Thanks to the unique advantages they offer, dental implants have become a highly recommended tooth replacement solution over the last couple of decades. Implant posts can be inserted into your jawbone to act as new tooth roots.
